Omphalocele pregnancy?

has anyone delivered a baby that had a large omphalocele? Did the baby survive? how long until the doctors did surgrey? I'm trying to get some personal experiences about this complicaton..Omphalocele pregnancy?
relatively safe surgery. It depends on the term of the child and other risk factors (lung development etc)
The surgery can go for a few hours but depending if the abdominal cavity has enough room to fit the intestine will determine how and what kind of recovery. For example, if someone sits on your stomach you have a hard time breathing. If the doctors force all the intestine in, your child may have a hard time breathing. They gauge using the respirator the pressure in the lung and determine if they need to use a silo and slowly(over the course of days push the intestine in.

Very routine- but as a parent it sucks
Oh wow, I had never heard of this so I looked it up, those poor bubs who are born that way.
The site that I was looking at said that its fixed with surgery at 6-12 months old, didn't mention anything about it being fatal.
