Are there any forms of oral birth control that are okay for people to take if they have had a history of blood clots? If so, what kind?Oral Birth Control?
Yes, you can try the mini pills (they only have progesterone in them, and no estrogen that causes clotting problems). I have heard arguments both sides with the depo shot, and the interuterine device (iud) is only to be used in women that have previously had a child.
You should consult an ob/gyn, but a depoprovera (shot), mini-pill (progesterone only), and intrauterine device are all fine for people who have a history of blood clots.
