It also hurts if it is touched firmly. It feels really sore, especially for the first few penetrations at the start of sex. There are many things that could cause this pain, from the strain of sex, as has been suggested, to more serious medical issues, such as vulvadynia or vaginismus.
I would make sure you are using an adaquate amount of lube, and that you are aroused before intercouse (helloooooo foreplay!). If you continue to have this pain, I would go talk to a GYN or pelvic specialist to rule out any more serious causes.

The last guy you had sex with had a big Penis that caused strain to your vagina. It should go back to normal in a few days if you leave it alone and have no sex! Enjoy!!
Sex does cause strain on your vaginal cavity. I know when I first started having sex I had a lot of pain at the back outside as well. Eventually the tissue around the vagina will either stretch or tear and heal and it will not be painful anymore. Hope that helped! Good luck!
If it hurts, maybe you need to stop having sex.
Use some lube you might be too dry causing some friction. Try some different sex positions it might be the angle you are out.
