Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo Question?

I started taking birth control at 13 for really bad cramps(I'm 21 now).. and recently I took a 2 month break from them and then a started again about 2 weeks ago. I'm having some really strange symptoms and I was hoping someone could help to clear it up for me. I've been noticing that i've been having horrible cramps, what I thought was spotting is turning into almost something of a menstrual cycle, and i've been feeling nauseous after I eat. I've used this pill before and have never had any of these symptoms, except for the nausea, but only on the first day of a new pack. I shouldn't be starting my period for at least another almost week and a half. Has anyone else experienced this?Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo Question?
when you take a break from birth control and then go back on them its like you are starting all over again. all of the symptoms are back.. nausea, breast tenderness, moodiness, etc. make sure you use back up for the 1st full pack. you can also have irregular bleeding the symptoms can last 3 mths or so. you have to give the hormones time to get back into your system. it is all very normal.
I know EXACTLY what you mean!! I was taking Yaz with no problems, then my doctor changed me to the Ortho Lo...and now, I have horrible cramps, periods half way through the pack, and BAD PMS. I think it could be the meds. I have been on it for 5 months now, and it still has not cleared up. Maybe you should talk to your doctor. I am! Good Luck!
