Paragard or mirena?

I just had a baby and am wondering about the birth control. I want either paragard or the mirena and want some opinions from those that have either one. ThanksParagard or mirena?
I love my paragard. The first couple days were hellish, but I've had no side effects since then (it's been 3 years).
Most people prefer Mirena, because it actually makes your periods lighter. Unfortunately,I was not a candidate for Mirena, because of family history of blood clots.
Both Mirena and Paragard are equally efficient
Pros of Paragard: No hormones, lasts for up to 10 years
Cons: your period might be heavier and you might spot
Pros of Mirena: makes your period lighter, lasts for about 5 years, so it's better financial choice if you plan on having another kid in the next 5-7 years
Cons: might make you break out or gain some weight, it's not for people who have severe depression or history of blood clots/ cardiovascular problems
Mirena. We do a lot of IUD's in our gyne office and the ladies seem to like them. We have placed 2 paragards, both of which fell out with the patients first period so we just don't use them anymore. Good luck!
