is it possible to ovulate while your on your period? I had been put on a birth control pill that basically makes me not have a peroid it is called apri then I got switch to something else. Anyhow all this was b/c of endometriosis and i have been off the pill for a while. Well I also used to have a period twice a month and so obviously my cycle is messed up. I was wondering if I could ovulate while on my period b/c i have heard of people getting pregnant on their period.Ovulation during period?
yes it is possible to ovulate on your period though not very likely. your cycle is also very messed up now and your body is trying to fix the hormonal levels and bring them back to normal so you never know what your body is doing. if you are having sex have your husband or bf wear a condom just to be on the safe side.
A woman ovulates monthly, bi-monthly or, about 4 times per year.
During ovulation an ovum is released from the ovaries, through the fallopian tubes, and into the uterus. If it is not fertilized, it is released out the cerivix with the uterine lining (that nurishes the fetus during pregnancy) as a 'period'.
No you do not 'ovulate' in the sense that the egg is released during a period.
Yes, you can get pregant, because it may be present in the uterus.
Yes it is true, its a small percentage but it happens.
