Permanent?

i thought lasor hair removal was permanent, some people say it isnt! is it?Permanent?
I think it varies from woman to woman. For some it is permanent, others do have hair grow back.
It should be permanent eventually but not initially. You will probably need a course of 6-10 but your beautician can advise you.
it depends as it can be different for every women
From my understanding it can last for a few months up to 3 or so years (It varies alot) & then there usually is some returning hair growth, more times than not alot thinner than before. It makes since that after having it done again it should be closer to permanint.
It can be but I think several sessions are needed in any case

Periodssssss?

i have really heavy periods and have to keep rushing to the toilet helppPeriodssssss?
I know your pain, WELL. Check out this web site
http://www.WebMD.com
click on the box and type in Heavy Periods
I have the same problem, looks like we both need a hysterectomy. Not, looking forward to that one=(
I have issues with doctors, I just don't trust them, I'll put mine off till the bitter end
have a sex change
Going on the pill usually makes your periods lighter and shorter.
Go to see you your doctor and find out what exactly the cause may be. It could include endometriosis or fibroids, both of which are manageable. They might prescribe a round of brith control pills that should diminish the the length of period and flow. This works fairly quickly.
Other treatments exist for more severe cases but seeing your doctor is a good place to start.
talk to your ob/gyn there is a procedure you can have done that will almost get rid of your periods completely, you will have very little discharge when you have a period, I had it done a couple of years ago, I would go thru a large box of pads each month and have pain, since the procedure I'm still on the same box of 24 pads from a couple of years ago, I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the procedure, hope it helps
Go see your doctor asp, maybe you need some treatment to sort things out.

Periodss..?

do breasts normally develop before or after your period
and im 15 and havnt gotten my periods yet and am pretty flatPeriodss..?
They usually develop before you start. I got my first period at 14 and breasts at 15. you will get your period when your body is ready. Don't worry. Talk to your mom about when she started her period and when she developed breasts. Good luck.
after. That's when the hormones start kicking in
umm it all depends on the person but most the time the start to grow a bit be for you get your period
Usually both happen within a fairly short time of one another. If you are otherwise healthy I would not worry too much. But no harm in asking your Doc if it makes you feel better.
dont worry. my mom got her period before she even wore a bra! so did i......

Periods? totm?

my girlfriend want to know why do periods hurt!Periods? totm?
i think that it is the womb contracting
Well , its the eggs moving i think! Just take some paracetamol, and a nice hot chocolate should do the trick! On your way
Oh there so pain full, i feel for her. The thing is not everyone has pain with it, I feel like I have had a kick in the belly and back. Apparently it something to do with the amount of blood we are losing, so if she is really heavy in the beginning then the more pain she will have, then towards the end the pain is not so bad, the lighter she gets. Good luck there is plenty of remedies to help you each month. xx
contractions of the uterus
it is only the womb contracting to get rid of the lining it doesn't need. i find a nice hot water bottle helps during this time , tell her next time she has a painful period to get a hot water bottle and wrap it up in a towel and place it on her tummy it will help ease the pain.
it is because the uterus is contracting to work to squeeze out the blood and shed its lining, so the prostaglandins (muscles making the uterus contract) are acting, hence making one have abdominal cramps.
ibuprofen/advil and a heating pad and maybe some fruit (and LOTS of water and iron) should help.
the womb contracting (cramps) to get rid of the tissue (blood) no how she feels..xx

Periods suck!?

When a girl is having her period, can she still get pregenant or people just not have sex during that time becuase its messy?Periods suck!?
yes, you can get pregnant even on your period, and some people actually do it during that time
it isn,t very sanitary doing it during your period and you could get pregnant as well

Periods have come and now gone?

I get period pain and stuff that i have them. but I got my periods this morning and now they have gone.. i been to my doctor and he said nothing to worry about... any ideas?Periods have come and now gone?
i hate it when that happens i went to see my nurse about that she said it because am on the pill and getting older i mean am only 24 for godsake.
low hormone level maybe.
harmons.
TALK ABOUT IT!, that happens to me all the time, in the morning it will be really bad and in the after noon it will be hardly anythink, just drops.
its normal just make sure your always protecting just in case! :)
am in period.am sick, about your situation maybe is a sign that period is coming
Are you breastfeeding still? I would sometimes bleed for a little while then it would disappear then I wouldn't get a period months at a time whilst breastfeeding, and when I stopped breastfeeding, they disappeared completely from october until January.
It takes a while for them to settle down sometimes because of all the hormones that like to throw wild parties still.
By all means, continue to bug your doctor if you feel that's the right thing to do, but it's just one of those things that happens after having a baby...or that's what I found anyway :)
I would wait a week and try another test if that one negative also, I would go to the doctor and make them check my beta H C G levels! are you stressed sometimes stress can make you late or miss a period all together

Period??is it normal?

is it normal to get my period once in two months ,, when i first got my period which was 8 years ago this use to happen then it got normal and i got like once every mounth but now i get once in two months is this normal?Period??is it normal?
Unusual, but could be normal for you. The variatioins in cycles appear to be endless.
But, check with your GYN, especially with your history of being stable at 2 months for a while, stable at 1 month for a while, and now stable again at 2 months.
Don't be surprised if you get referred to an endocrinologist (specialist in glands that produce hormones).
You should discuss this with your gynococlogist. My cycle has changed from month to month my entire life, now it's around 6 weeks or so, but in February, the short month, I had two. Crazy hormones!!
why dont you go to a docter and find out maybe your preganant
I would check in with your doc. & see what's going on.
Have you lost any weight recently, are you under a lot of stress or your hormones could be off a bit.
