Ovarian cysts?

Where exactly is the pain when you have ovarian cysts? Is it in the front, low in the pelvic area, or is it more on your side and back. Also is it a constant pain or is it dull with sharp pains? I think that is what my problem is, but want to know for sure before I go back to the hospital.Ovarian cysts?
I too have ovarian cysts.
Mine usually hurts right behind my hip bones. I usually have a constant pain. Most of the time its a dull ache.. however, sometimes it is a sharp shooting pain,
If you get diagnosed with pcos, prepare for your life to be different. As a result of the pcos I have pmdd. My hormones are nuts. There is a constant pain. I have maybe 3 periods a year. Its crazy. Make an appt with your ob-gyn, tell them about your concerns and they will run a series of blood tests.
Good luck!
I have suffered with ovarian cyst before. My pain was in both my front pelvic region and my back. Mostly in my lower back on my left side. I had a hemorrhagic cyst that was the size of an orange. The pain was horrendous. The Dr. put me on birth control pills which made the cyst eventually go away. I stayed on the pill for 3 months. I hope this info helps.
I also included a link for you to look at for more info. Hope your feeling better soon...
I just had a cysts removed but the pain I was having was in my pelvic area and lower back. You should ask your doc 4 him/or her 2 order you a ultrasound 2 see how big the cysts is. Then your doc will determine if you need surgery. The surgery is same day and then you will ok.
