Ovulation question?

when exactly is it that a woman ovulates...thats the best time to get pregnant right? say i had my period on the 12th this month, what part of my cycle am i in right now? i've never been to good at this...Ovulation question?
day 14 from the from the first day of your period. Have sex a couple days before, the day of, and a day or two after (at the least *wink*).

14 days after the START of your period is the best time for conceiving.
On an average, a woman's menstruation cycle is 28 days. Ovulation, which is when the egg is released and is the best time to get pregnant, is during the middle of they cycle; which based on the average 28 day complete cycle would be 14 days from the start of your last period. Hope this helps.
