Period??

I got my period today. if i exercise a lot during the weekend will it stop it from coming so heavy on monday?? i used to be in soccer and during that time my flow wasnt heavy.Period??
Exercise may help ease some of the pain of the flow but it won't completely stop it. Something else you could do to help ease some of the heaviness is to increase the level of iron you take in by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course).
Also, because you have had problems with your periods being heavy I would recommend that you see your dr to have this situation evaluated to see what they think could be causing this.
no. If anything..excercise will make the flow HEAVIER.
Moderate sports activity will help in many ways, not only reducing flow amount. It will ease cramps, pain and inflamation. If the flow continues to be high, I recommend you visit your gynecologist soon.
i don't think it stops from flowing, because when i play soccer i just keep coming, but that just me. you on the other hand might have a heavy flow but when your playing soccer its not so heavy.
