Ortho Tri Cyclen..Didnt take it the Sunday of my period..?

My period started Saturday and ended on this Tuesday, Since I didnt take the pill on the sunday of my period is it ok for me to start today or on the sunday coming up? If I do will I be safe to have sex?Ortho Tri Cyclen..Didnt take it the Sunday of my period..?
You should always start a new pack the Sunday after your period starts. (It states this explicitly in the directions) If you missed this Sunday then you'll need to wait a month and start your next pack then. In the meantime be sure to use other protection.
I have always just started taking my pill as soon as my period was over. Today will be fine. BTW I have been on Birth Control for 8 years. I would wait a few days before I have sex since it is Thursday and you ended your period on Tuesday. If you want to have sex, just make sure you use a condom.
I think this is addressed in the product's instructions.
Anyway, shouldn't you have 7 days of placebo to burn through first before resuming the hormone?
