Period twice a month after coming off the injections?

my wife and I are trying for a baby. She was taking the contaceptive injections every 3 months for the last 2 years plus. I know there are some health risks involved with this method. She came off them 3 months ago and got her 1st period after about 6 weeks. She is now getting them every 2 weeks and we are a little concerned. We live in Thailand by the way.Period twice a month after coming off the injections?
She had injections of hormones to stop her ovulating and getting pregnant.
Now she has stopped her body needs to rebalance itself hormonally.
Once it has done this it should start ovulating again at a regular time.
The body is an amazing machine and will do so much to 'repair' and keep homeostasis.
It is completely normal in a lot of cases to have an irregular period after being on the depo shot. It is because the body is trying to re-regulate itself from being on the contraceptive.
