Ok so I have an infection.?

I went to walgreens thursday b/c I have an yeast infection I call a friend and aske her would she use the WG brand med instead of monistat she said that the pharmacist told her that they were exactly the same just the nam so I grab the 3 day and I still have some mod-mild itching what shoudl I do now?? Shoudl I go get some meds.Ok so I have an infection.?
Call your doctor and get Diflucan. Those messy creams never worked too well for me. You can use some anti itch cream in the mean time- in between time. Plain yogurt also soothes as well if you have burning.
Go to the doctor & get examined ASAP. & see whats causing the itching after the medication.
Vaginal itching is a side effect of this drug, and it is considered to be a more serious one. However, for it to be considered a major side effect, it must be worst now than before you started taking the medication. You should contact your doctor. For it might mean, you might need another course of the medication, need something stronger, or it was not a yeast infection in the first place and a different medication is needed.
There is no difference between Monistat and the Walgreens brand. Some of the generics are actually made by the same people who make the brands.
